Beckham Becomes A Blogger

Alliteration at its finest. Can his blog change the face of American soccer forever? Absolutely not. But $900 aviators are jazzy. With all this coverage on ESPN and other media outlets, I've yet to hear anyone astutely explain how this dude can change our soccer bashing culture, which seemingly gets it's kicks--for lack of a better word--in mocking out how soft soccer players are.

Is the question even worth asking? He's a right midfielder in his twilight years. I repeat...a midfielder. Not a forward, which would ALMOST entertain a somewhat interested American public. Even then, you could bring over Thierry Henry, Andre Shevchenko and Didier Drogba (who just recently helped end a civil war in the Ivory Coast) and the American public would still rather watch A-Rod read a book.
